L’Oreal to eliminate non-recycled plastics

All plastics casings of the company’s beauty products will be made either from recycled plastics or natural derivatives within the next decade, the company said, compared with 15 per cent by the end of this year.
L’Oreal has been working with raw material suppliers and looking at recycling technologies in order to plan for the future, whether that be through new forms of packaging or refillable packs. It also plans to use only renewable energy at all of its facilities by 2025.
